Frozen, herbal, dangerous.
Rum, peach, lime, honey, mint and pineapple blended to a frosty green — a Donn Beach tiki that hides its strength in a smoothie.
Ingredients
- White Rum30 ml
- Peach Brandy15 ml
- Fresh Lime Juice15 ml
- Honey Mix30 ml
- Mint Leaves10
- Pineapple Chunks3-4
Garnish
Garnish with mint sprig and a slice of pineapple.
Method
- 1Blend all the ingredients with half a cup of crushed ice.
- 2Serve in a large coupe.
The lesson
Blending is a texture technique: it aerates and dilutes at once. A frozen drink can carry more spirit than it lets on.
