Chartreuse Swizzle
A swizzle built on herbal fire.
Green Chartreuse, pineapple, lime and falernum swizzled over pebble ice to a frosty green — the modern classic that made Chartreuse a bartender's obsession.
Ingredients
- Green Chartreuse45 ml
- Fresh Pineapple Juice30 ml
- Fresh Lime Juice22.5 ml
- Falernum15 ml
Garnish
Garnish with mint leaves and grated nutmeg.
Method
- 1Pour all ingredients into a tall glass, add pebble ice.
- 2With a swizzle stick mix vigorously, then fill the glass with more pebble ice.
The lesson
Swizzling with a stick chills and aerates from the inside out, pulling frost onto the glass. The tool is the technique.
