A martini with a bitter secret.
Gin and sweet vermouth given a jolt of Fernet by Ada Coleman at the Savoy — the drink a bartender made for a bored regular who wanted 'something with a bit of punch'.
Ingredients
- London Dry Gin45 ml
- Sweet Red Vermouth45 ml
- Fernet7.5 ml
Garnish
Orange zest.
Method
- 1Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well.
- 2Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
